Little Rock plastic surgeon Jim English, MD, is the surgical director and owner of the English Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center and Surgi-Spa. Dr. English graduated from Bryant High School as Valedictorian. He then received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. English continued his education at the University of Arkansas School of Medicine, exhibiting his natural leadership abilities as president of his class.

He later completed an internship in General Surgery, a residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. English is board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He limits his practice to facial plastic and cosmetic surgery and the few areas of otolaryngology that relate directly to those procedures. Dr. English is a full fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and has held a national leadership position within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

While Dr. English’s medical school honors and certification attest to his knowledge, his surgical skill is the basis of his greatest recognition. Dr. English has an excellent reputation for achieving a very natural appearance for his patients. He has also published articles in respected periodicals and medical textbooks relating to his specialty over the last 44 years.
